[LS1] - Quo Vadis Sustainability Globally and in ASEAN?

The Asia Transition Finance Study Group (ATF SG) held the first learning session (LS1) of 2025 on 11 April (Fri).

The ATF SG hosted its first learning session in 2025 on 11 April via Zoom, focusing on global and Southeast Asian sustainability efforts. The session began with an agenda overview, a pulse survey, and updates on the group's mission, progress, and 2025 priorities, which include advancing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) development, integrated battery energy storage and distributed networks, and carbon pricing and credits.

The International Energy Agency (IEA) served as the guest speaker, presenting insights from the World Energy Outlook 2024 and Southeast Asia Energy Outlook 2024, while also introducing its new Singapore-based Regional Cooperation Centre. The session concluded with an engaging discussion among participants.
